Bagala Beads

Had the privilege to bring the business concept to design life. Starting with the logo we moved forward, I was tasked with the Logo and the overall design and navigation. Community Swap shop is still growing in development and will be coming to a community near you. Check it out and start posting things you want to Sell or swap. Not much more I can say but Check it out... the cool thing is that it started right here in little old Wilmington NC.
Project Bagala
It all started with a trip to Uganda and part of our Mission to help build self generating projects that can sustain families and support children going to school. Will post more but wanted to share the the site. Cannot wait to see what happens. Brett and Shauna Fuller are heading it up on our side and looks to be a great thing for the people we are involved with in Jinga.

Staple Shot
Well just got back from the photo shoot and had to modify the shoot too one person. Just as I had thought, the horses were sketchy with flash. Tried the flash once...and that prove the point of horses and flashes. Nothing like a portable battery operated spot light with a tupper wear bowl to save the day. Here is the initial shot that will be used for site and some other branding . Now it is to the design board with the web design process. Transitions really wanted to have an Image feel to the site. This is where photography is probably the most important anchor of the design since it will dictate so much real estate. I will post the end result when completed.
The Design
Web design complete. All in all went very smoothly and it always great to work with nice people. If you are in the market for anything Equine I highly recommend you visit Susan & David up at Transitions Saddlery. They will take care of you are the nicest people. Well, our home page changed from our initial thought of a layout. I learned a lot in short time about the riding and equestrian culture, and no, I am no where near a subject matter expert. What I did learn was the that transitions in riding means the process of a horse moving into different strides (styles i.e. walk to gallup). I thought it would be a neat shot to get the back of a horse’s shoes in stride. Armed with my Mark III and Canon’s New 200 F.2, we shot a few series of rider and horse. I really liked the image it gave us to work with. Below is the end result for the home page.
